Lauren Rose is a Level 3 qualified personal trainer in Aberdeen, specialising in injury rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and pre and post natal training. Based at PureGym Aberdeen Altens, she serves clients across Aberdeen, Altens, Cove Bay, and Nigg — from first-time gym-goers to women rebuilding after injury or childbirth.

Do I need any gym or training experience to work with you?
No, you don't need any gym experience. Lauren tailors every session to your current fitness level, movement history, and confidence — whether you're completely new or returning after time away. Most of her clients started exactly where you are now. Your first session is a conversation, not a workout you need to prepare for.
I have an old injury — can you still train me?
Yes, injury rehabilitation is one of Lauren's core specialisms. She's helped clients recover from sports injuries, impact trauma, and chronic pain by rebuilding strength with patience and intent. Every programme is designed around what your body can do today — then progressed safely from there. You'll come back stronger than before.
Can I train with you during pregnancy or post-birth?
Absolutely. Lauren is fully qualified in pre and post natal training, and has years of experience helping women stay active and strong through pregnancy, prepare the body for childbirth, and rebuild safely post delivery. Clearance from your midwife or GP is recommended; everything else is built around your stage, your symptoms, and your energy.
Where are the sessions held?
All sessions take place at PureGym Aberdeen Altens — Unit B, Wellington Circle, AB12 3QW. It's a full-facility gym with everything needed for strength work, mobility drills, rehab, and pre/post natal programming. Free parking on-site, easy access from Cove Bay and Nigg.
How does the free consultation work?
It's a 20-minute conversation — usually at the gym, or over the phone if that's easier. Lauren listens to your goals, injury history, pregnancy stage if relevant, and your lifestyle. Then she explains exactly how she'd build your programme. No pressure, no sales pitch, no obligation to book afterwards.
How quickly will I see results?
Most clients feel stronger and more confident within the first 2-3 weeks. Visible changes depend on your starting point, frequency, and nutrition — but strength, mobility, and how you feel in your body shift early. Rehab clients often report reduced pain within the first 4 weeks. Pre and post natal clients feel more in control of their body through every stage.
What does it cost?
Lauren builds packages around how often you want to train and what you want to achieve — so pricing is personalised to your goals, not a fixed menu. The free consultation is the best place to talk through options. There's no pressure to commit on the call.
